Postpartum Body Confidence

Love the skin you’re in now

A body confidence program for mums who are tired of fighting their bodies and ready to feel more at home in themselves

— without diets, shame, or pressure to “bounce back.”

You do not have to "bounce back" to belong in your body

Postpartum changes you.

_DSC1197
Your body changes.
Your energy changes.
Your relationships change.
Your identity changes.
Your capacity changes.

Maybe your baby is 3 months old. Maybe your child is 3 years old. Maybe everyone else has stopped calling your body  “postpartum,” but you still feel the changes every day.

You might avoid photos, dread getting dressed, compare yourself to your pre-baby body, or feel guilty for struggling because you know your body has done something amazing.

And if you’re parenting abroad, there can be another layer: different beauty standards, fewer familiar support systems, and the quiet loneliness of trying to figure it all out far from home.

This program gives you space to understand what changed, soften the way you speak to yourself, and build a more respectful relationship with your body as it is today.

Not later.
Not when you're smaller.
Not when you’ve “fixed” yourself.

Now

Spoiler Alert: your body is NOT the problem.

You created an entire freaking human inside your body...

Your body is AMAZING.

And you’re also still allowed to feel complicated about it.
You can be grateful for what your body has done while also feeling disconnected from how it looks or feels now.
You can want to care for your health without turning your body into a project to fix.
You can believe in body confidence and still have days where the mirror, the photos, the clothes, or the comments hit hard.
Because your body image is not just about your body.

It is shaped by:
  • culture
  • family comments
  • unrealistic beauty standards
  • medical experiences and access to healthcare
  • pregnancy, birth, feeding and support
  • sleep deprivation and hormones
  • clothes that no longer fit
  • social media (locally and at home)
  • comparison with other women without the context of their stories
  • and the pressure to mother like your needs come last while looking nothing has changed.

Postpartum Body Confidence helps you stop making your body the enemy so you can start building a kinder, more stable relationship with the body you have now.

This is for you if...

  •  Your body feels unfamiliar after pregnancy, birth, or motherhood
  • You want to care for your health without spiralling into shame
  • You’re tired of criticising yourself in mirrors, photos, and changing rooms
  • “Just love your body” feels unrealistic and impossible
  • You want to give your children a healthier way to talk about bodies
  • You feel alone in how much your body image affects your mood, confidence, or relationships
  • You’re ready for support that is honest, practical and meets you wherever you are.

Real-life results for mums like you

What is Postpartum Body Confidence?

Postpartum Body Confidence is a supportive, small group coaching program for mums who want to rebuild body trust, self-compassion, and confidence after birth.

It is for the messy middle; when you don’t hate your body every day, but you don’t feel fully at home in it either.

Inside the program, we look at the beliefs, habits, standards, and stories that shape how you see yourself. Then we build practical tools for the moments that feel hardest: getting dressed, seeing photos, hearing comments, comparing yourself, caring for your health, or talking to yourself with more kindness.

This is NOT:
  • a diet
  • a weight-loss program
  • an exercise challenge
  • a makeover
  • a “just love yourself” positivity course
It is body confidence for real mums in real bodies.

Inside the program, we focus on five key areas:

Health

1. Health

We separate health from weight, size, and appearance so you can care for your body without turning it into a project to fix.

You’ll explore what supportive health choices look like for your real life, with your energy, culture, medical needs, responsibilities and capacity.

What does health mean for this body, in this season of my life?

2. Intuition

Self-care has to fit your actual life. Not the fantasy version where everyone leaves you alone for three hours, the house is quiet, and no one needs a snack.

We’ll look at how to notice what your body is asking for before you reach breaking point; rest, food, movement, space, support, softness, or something else entirely.

Instead of adding another unsustainable and impossible routine, we'll focus on how to choose small acts of care that are realistic, flexible and yours.

What is my body asking for today?
Intuition

Love

3. Love

You cannot shame yourself into confidence. That harsh voice in your head is not motivation. It’s shame.

You’ll learn how to soften that voice, practise body neutrality, and speak to yourself in a way that helps instead of hurts.

The goal is not forced positivity. We start with honesty, neutrality, and kinder language.

How can I respond to my body without shame?

4. Ancestory

Beauty standards are not neutral.
They are taught.
They are inherited.
They are marketed.
They are cultural.
And often, they were never designed to include you.

We’ll explore the standards you inherited, the ones you’re ready to question, and what beauty could mean if it included the body you have now.

How can I honour where my body comes from and choose what I carry forward?
Ancestory

Tribe

5. Tribe

Shame grows in silence. Confidence grows in safe conversation.

This part of the program focuses on support, connection, and the power of being around other mums who are also trying to unlearn body shame. When you hear another woman say the thing you thought only you felt, something shifts.

You realise you are not broken.
You are not vain.
You are not the only one.
You are not failing at confidence.
You are human.

How do we change the way people talk about bodies?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Postpartum Body Confidence?
Postpartum Body Confidence is a supportive coaching program for mums who want to stop fighting their bodies and start feeling more at home in themselves.

Together, we explore health without shame, self-care that fits real mum life, self-compassion, beauty standards, identity, and the power of body-positive community.

This is not a bounce-back program.
This is not about fixing your body.
This is about rebuilding trust, confidence, and kindness in the body you live in now.
Is this therapy?
No. This is a coaching and body confidence program. It can be deeply reflective and supportive, but it is not a replacement for therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment.

Coaching gives you space to reflect, get clear, make decisions, practise communication, and create practical changes in your day-to-day life.

If you are experiencing mental health concerns that need clinical support, such as postpartum depression, anxiety, trauma, or crisis-level distress, I will encourage you to connect with an appropriate mental health professional and can provide referrals to do so.
Do I have to be newly postpartum?
No.
Postpartum does not magically end at six weeks, six months, or even one year. If your experience of pregnancy, birth, motherhood, or body change is still affecting how you feel in your body, you are welcome here.
What if I don’t feel body positive?
That’s completely okay.

You do not need to arrive feeling positive about your body. Many people begin with body neutrality, curiosity, or even frustration. The goal is not to force positivity. The goal is to build a more compassionate, respectful relationship with your body over time.
Is this a weight-loss program?
No.

This program does not promise weight loss and does not centre weight loss as the goal. We do talk about health, care, and body trust from a non-shaming, non-diet perspective.
Can I join if I want to make changes to my health?

Yes.

Wanting to care for your health is valid. The difference is that we explore how to do that without using shame, punishment, or body hatred as the driving force.

What if I find it hard to talk about my body?
That is very normal.

You will never be forced to share more than you want to. This program is designed to be supportive, respectful, and gentle. You can participate at your own pace.
What if I’m interested in community but not 1:1 coaching?
You can absolutely still reach out.

I also support community spaces for mums, including Our Village and other groups connected to my work.

If you’re not sure where you fit, email me or add me on WeChat and I can help you find the right place to start.
How do I know if this is right for me?
Book a clarity call.

We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life, what support you’re missing, and whether Beyond The Baby is the right fit.

If another offer, group, or community space makes more sense, I’ll tell you.

Ready to stop fighting your body?

You deserve to feel more at home in your body.

Not because your body finally looks a certain way.
Not because you have earned confidence by changing yourself.
Not because you have become the perfect version of a mother.

Simply because you are already living in this body, and you deserve a kinder relationship with the amazing version that you're in now.
